  • Gen Z's are reporting the highest levels of consistent stress out of any generation we have ever raised!  AQ: There are many factors for this and we will definitely break it down on the Live Huddles and in the course.
  • ​Athletes share that they experience feelings of anxiousness, stress and overwhelm on a consistent basis, but they don't necessarily know why that is the case or what to do about it.  AQ: HINT, it relates to the science of stress
  • Athletes share stories of how they try to think their way through the stress response.  AQ: What we know at AQ Athletics is athletes can't "think through it" because stress responses ARE NOT a thinking problem.  
  • Athletes are "stuck" in the "survival stress" mode.  This part of their system doesn't know the difference between a real threat; like a tiger for example. Or if the threat is an upcoming test.  AQ: The athlete survival brain doesn't weigh in on context, it weighs in on threat response.  
  • ​Athletes are so "stuck" in their survival modes that they oftentimes have a difficult time being flexible with feedback or expectations.  AQ: Often times the athletes system is so focused on survival that feedback can be seen as "a threat" rather than an ally. 
  • Athletes want to be more flexible.  Trust us, they talk about it A LOT.  AQ: In order to create consistent flexibility athletes need to understand how to effectively manage their internal system.

STASIA FOUNDER & Co-Owner

Hello!  I am Stasia.  I serve high-level high school, college and pro-level athletes, as well as aviation students at the university level to learn the science behind performance. I am a former D1 athlete, and I coached at all levels for 20+ years; from club to college.  One of my favorite things in life is simplifying and combining the process I learned as a former coach and athlete, with the world I explored and got to know as a therapist working in trauma, addictions and family systems.  I studied the science behind sports performance, applied behavior, motivation and connection. Through AQ Athletics I have had the absolute best job of supporting 1000's of athletes in their pursuit of acquiring the internal skills they need to crush it at game time & in their life outside of the competition arena. I look forward to connecting with you someday soon too!

Hello, it is great to connect with you here!  I am a former baseball college athlete. I served & grew my leadership skills while serving in the United States Air Force. Following my six years of service, I transitioned to two of my greatest passions, building a family & a career in business. Over the course of 17 years I moved up the chain of command and went on to help build a world renowned family owned business. I then made the exciting decision to join my wife, and Founder of AQ Athletics in building this movement of serving 
Gen Z athletes.  With that decision I bring a strong passion to grow our mission. I look forward to contributing my  management experience & high level sports background to the coaching I do using the AQ Performance System.
